The speciality of different kinds of chicken & mutton dishes at Arsalan Resturant Hatibagan |
Last night, to celebrate our parents marriage anniversary, me and my wife decided to took dinner from Arsalan Resturant, 138 Bidhan Sarani, Kolkata. Then we found in a website that they deliver food free of cost at your door-step. Just to confirm the same, we call to 033 25540393 and the person other side also confirm the same and asked us to place the order in phone. Due to some unavailability of food, though mentioned in their menu chart, we decided to place the order by reaching their restaurant.
ReplyDeleteWe reached around 7 o'clock in the evening at the restaurant and placed order. To all my surprise, the person who took the order, claimed to be the restaurant manager and denied to tell his name to us; told us that they do not deliver food if the billing amount is less than Rs.1000/-. We argued but failed and he stuck to his words. We decided to increase the quantity so that the bill amount exceeds the ceiling of Rs.1000/-. He said that the order has already been dispatched to delivery counter and you can not alter your order anymore. Then at the time of payment, he said that their card swiping machine is not functioning and I have to pay it by cash. If he told us that earlier, we would not place the order. Finally we roam around the streets to find an ATM and collect cash to pay the bill.
Such nuisance is not at all expected from an organisation of this stature and such nonsense staffs must be sacked to maintain the goodwill Arsalan do poses in Kolkata.
